Word Processing

Room 14 children are word processing their stories using the Alpha Smart computers. They are learning to use correct fingering as for touch typing.

George is puzzling over the letters. Sometimes it's hard to understand that the upper case letter shown on the keyboard is really a lower case letter when it's used without the Shift key.

Joshua, Devon and Anne are concentrating really hard on getting it right, they're doing a great job!

Good boy Nic, you are developing really good fingering skills!

Paige said, "I feel just like a real office lady!" And she looks just like one too! Amazing concentration and aptitude for a little Year 2 child.

Well done Jackson, your word processing is getting quite fast now, and congratulations on your efforts at using the correct fingering.

Another amazing little typist! Good one Trinity -you typed a very long story and concentrated for a long time! Looking good.

Liam is showing perfect fingering skills and concentration!

Well done Leo and Callum, you're trying really hard.

Fantastic Lesley. Really great photos. Nice to use the childrens names and to comment on each individual. I've chosen some to use in the Kidz @ Central news. Lets make a time to sit and look at it
